Captain See-Saw

Day Ten

Skippering a see-saw,

I am dunking in the cup,

But I'm never in the doldrums,

I am always on the up.

To balance on a see-saw,

Is a perilous affair,

One may swoop into the muck,

Or one may crash into the air,

I am bound inversely upwards,

Though I hit the dirt too soon,

The impelling of Achilles,

Sends me tumbling to the moon.

They call me Captain See-Saw,

'Cause I'm never lingering,

I'm a topsy-turvy wonder,

With my turtle-turning grin.
